.................................Submissions Advice................................

Hello and Welcome To EyecatchingPhotos

I would encourage all Members both Old and New to Read our Submissions Guidlines located on our Main page. They are translated into 8 additional languages to better assist you

I want to say a few brief words on the way this group works,in order to better prepare you;as Members to know which of your works we are more (Or less) likely to accept.
Because firstly We do not enjoy Declining your submissions.
But we do see those as opportunities for you to  pick up a few helpful hints on how to improve;because we all have something to learn,I think.
So keep the correspondence message and send us a comment requesting feedback
.And PLEASE,do not take this personally.

We see hundreds of photos weekly and we do NOT play favourites. All of the Admins photos go through the same scrutiny as yours does

1Read the Submission Guidelines carefully Because all the Admins here are familiar with them and your work will need to meet those before we can accept it

2 EyeCatching. We are aware that this is a more subjective judgement, but in all fairness each and every Group here on DA has something unique to their format and this is ours.
So,after you have satisfied yourself that your shot meets the focus, composition ,exposure and watermarking Guidelines and that it's not a Photomanipulation;then you must look at the shot as objectively as you can.
Does the photo draw your eye to it if it is on a page with several other shots?
In other words, take a look at the front page of DA and see which of the Thumbnails draws your eye.
That's what we mean as Eyecatching

I welcome your comments, questions and if you have a work that you're unsure of then send us a note with a link or thumbcode and we can give you a quick opinion on it.(No promises, there are close to 20 people here and we're not going to guarantee anything with this process)

So let's hear from you,as we all want to see more of your Submissions accepted and help make this a better group for us all

Thank you

Brian

Thanks for the clarification Brian. As a moderator on another site, I too know the pain of rejecting. Keep up the good work.
